12 km - A town full of picturesque alleys with old houses. You can discover several tourist attractions during a walk around the abbey. Tournus is located on the banks of the Saône. A combination with a visit to the nearby La Truchère nature reserve (famous for its frogs) is well worthwhile.

26 km - The Benedictine monastery of Cluny was founded in 910 and became the centre of a powerful monastic reform movement in the Middle Ages. Discover the rich heritage of Cluny, its beautiful surroundings and don't forget to taste the artisanal local products while visiting this town.

41 km - Chalon-sur-Saône is located on the river Saône. The city is also known as 'Ville d'Art et d'Histoire'. Every year, at the end of July, Chalon-sur-Saône is the setting for one of France's biggest street theatre festivals for five days.
